• looking for new challenges
• riding my bikes
• improving my linux skills
• used to be also interested in open source in general, Point and Semplice (both Debian derivatives, both dormant at the moment) GNU/Linux operating systems in particular. but gone with the wind ... I was testing or using
  • wattOS-LXDE-R8, Debian spin, very interesting (updated. unfortunately the newest editions are based on Ubuntu). interesting because it is just between two extremes - conservative Point using Debian stable packages and old (and the best one up to now) Mate 1.4 DE and ultra modern Semplice with the newest applications and vera (openbox based) window manager
  • MX xfce and antiX (Debian based distros)
  • salixOS mate, → VectorLinux xfce, (both Slackware based distros) and PClinuxOS mate
  • voidlinux mate
  • at the moment Devuan; stable version at my box, cp. also free distros based on Devuan
• looking into html, css, javascript, cms etc etc for editing, maintaining and handling web sites
  • want to learn more? see - very good and up-to-date manual (not affiliated with the W3C) with many examples or codecademy

systemd controvercy

looking for systemd-free distro? - try one of these: MX Linux, antiX, PCLinux or SalixOS! there is also Devuan (Debian fork) and its derivatives. worth a tray.
